The Tocqueville Fund is a multi-cap equity fund whose investment objective is long-term capital appreciation. The Fund is managed in the time-tested manner for which Tocqueville is known: employing a value oriented and contrarian investing style. The Fund seeks to invest in companies that have good long-term fundamentals but are temporarily out of favor with investors, and hence have a market value lower than their intrinsic value. The fundamental research based value orientation helps us find companies which have good businesses; the contrarian orientation enables us to buy them at what we believe to be attractive prices.
This value oriented multi-cap fund is designed for the core holdings of your overall portfolio that you have targeted to the broad equity markets. Our other portfolios may be used to augment your investment program.
